Most agencies started in marketing. We started in enterprise IT — managing thousands of devices in healthcare, where downtime wasn't an option. Today we bring that discipline to custom software: platforms, client portals, and apps, designed and built in house.
Tyler doesn't come from the agency world. He comes from the server room. Before a single app was shipped or a single website was designed, Tyler spent years deep in enterprise IT — managing large-scale device deployments across healthcare systems where failure meant real consequences for real people.
That background didn't just teach him how technology works. It taught him how technology should work: reliably, scalably, and for the long haul. He carried that engineering-first mindset into digital strategy, and eventually into building software of his own — including AgentVue for real estate agents and RentalVue for landlords, both live on the App Store today.
Every agency has an origin story. Most start with "I learned marketing." Ours starts with "I learned how systems fail."
Tyler's career started managing thousands of endpoints across healthcare organizations — environments where a misconfigured device could disrupt patient care and a missed update could create a compliance violation. This wasn't "fix it when it breaks" IT. It was proactive systems thinking: trace every dependency, anticipate every failure point, build so things don't break in the first place.
That mindset became permanent. When you've spent years building infrastructure where downtime isn't tolerated, you don't suddenly become casual about the systems you build next. Every project gets the same rigor — whether it's a hospital network, a multi-role platform, or a small business website.
10+ years managing enterprise-scale infrastructureWhen Tyler transitioned into marketing and digital strategy, he immediately saw a pattern everyone else missed: most businesses didn't have a marketing problem. They had a systems problem. The website looked great but the forms went nowhere. The ads drove traffic but nobody followed up. The tools existed but nothing talked to each other.
This was the same class of problem he'd been solving for years — disconnected systems creating invisible failures. The only difference was the domain. Instead of endpoints and servers, it was funnels and CRMs. The engineering approach was identical: trace the whole system, find the real constraint, fix the thing that actually moves the needle.
The results followed. A 29% year-over-year revenue increase. Lead capture systems that tripled inbound volume. Marketing automation that replaced hours of weekly manual follow-up with sequences that run around the clock.
29% YoY revenue growth · 3x lead capture increaseWorking across clients and organizations, Tyler kept seeing the same gap. Businesses with gorgeous websites and zero automation. Great design, no follow-up system. The website was a digital brochure — not a digital engine. Someone fills out a contact form at 9pm on a Friday and doesn't hear back until Tuesday. By then they've called someone else.
The agencies that built those sites treated the launch as the finish line. But for Tyler — coming from a world where deployment was just the beginning of operations — that made no sense. What happens after launch? Who monitors performance? Who optimizes the sequences? Who makes sure the system is actually converting?
And the deeper he looked, the more often the real problem sat underneath the website: three or four subscriptions that didn't talk to each other, a spreadsheet only one person understood, and a team member who had quietly become the integration. No plugin fixes that. Software does.
Real estate agents were the clearest example. They juggle listings, contacts, open houses, commissions, and lead capture across a pile of disconnected tools, and none of them fit how an agent actually works. So instead of recommending one more subscription, Tyler built the platform: AgentVue, a full business platform with a native iOS app, designed, engineered, and shipped in house.
Landlords had the same problem in a different shape, so the next product was RentalVue: properties, leases, rent roll, maintenance, and Schedule E expenses in one app for landlords with a handful of doors, now on the web and the App Store. Then came RecVue, now in private preview: one household account across every rec center a family uses, with a staff console for the rec centers themselves.
The same approach has since produced ReferVue, a white-label affiliate and referral platform with partner dashboards and payout reporting, and LoyalVue, a white-label rewards program for restaurants and restaurant groups. Closest to home is Vail Valley Pulse, one app for everything happening across the valley. Different businesses, same foundation: accounts and roles, dashboards, reporting, and integrations that are proven before a client's build ever starts.
None of it was subcontracted. The person who scopes the project is the person who writes the code, which is why the client roster is deliberately small and why the answer to "can we change this?" is a conversation, not a change order.
6 apps & platforms built · all our ownOriginally founded in Philadelphia and now headquartered in Vail, Colorado, Vail Digital builds custom software for businesses across the Vail Valley, from Vail to Gypsum, and for clients nationwide: founders with a product idea, operators who have outgrown their spreadsheets, and businesses whose workflow is the thing that makes them competitive. We still design websites and connect the tools around them, from Lightspeed and Ecwid integrations to full lead pipelines. Every client gets the same enterprise-grade thinking applied to a real-world budget.
Before any build, we design the key screens of your software so you can see it before you commit, then quote the build at a fixed fee. Whether it's an internal tool, a client portal, a full SaaS platform, or a single landing page, the depth is the same.
No bloated retainers. No black-box deliverables. Data export is built into our apps and written into custom builds. Want to own the software outright? You can buy a copy of one of our white-label platforms, or arrange to own software we build for you, agreed in writing up front.
Proud Lightspeed / Ecwid partnerOff-the-shelf software makes you work its way. We start with how your business actually runs, design the system around it, and connect it to the tools you already rely on, so the same number stops being typed into three places. And if something you can buy would do the job, we'll tell you.
We've seen agencies that hold their clients' websites hostage. We build the opposite: everything we create is yours. Code, data, automations, documentation. Your software runs on infrastructure in your name wherever possible. If you leave, you leave with the keys. Our job is to make you independent, not dependent.
Shipping is a deployment, not a delivery. We release working software in usable pieces, then keep it secure, monitored, and evolving as your business changes, maintained by the people who built it. You'll always know what's working — and what we're improving next.
Vail Digital (formerly TNM Digital Solutions) is a custom software studio. We design and build custom platforms and client portals, SaaS and web applications, native iOS apps, internal tools and dashboards, and the API and data integrations that tie them together, plus the custom websites and marketing automation that surround them.
We also build and run our own products. AgentVue, RentalVue, RecVue, ReferVue, LoyalVue, and Vail Valley Pulse are ours end to end, which means every client build benefits from lessons we've already paid for in production. Beyond client work, we create courses and run a business growth community for entrepreneurs who want to understand their own systems.
An app, a platform, or a process that's outgrown its spreadsheet. 15 minutes, no pitch, and an honest answer on what it would take and whether custom is even the right call.
